SQL Syntax Rules
Rules To Follow:
- SQL keywords are NOT case sensitive:
select
is the same asSELECT
- SQL statement cannot be followed by another statement on the same line.
- Place a semicolon (;) at the end of the last clause.
Example-1: SQL Select Statement
SELECT column1, column2....columnN
FROM table_name;
Example-2: SQL CREATE TABLE Statement
CREATE TABLE table_name(
column1 datatype,
column2 datatype,
column3 datatype,
.....
columnN datatype,
PRIMARY KEY( one or more columns )
);
